Process Questions

  • Do I need to use primer before painting?

    It depends on the surface and condition. If the walls are new, have stains, or are darker than the new paint, we recommend primer for better adhesion and coverage.

  • How many coats of paint do you apply?

    We recommend two coats of paint for optimal coverage and durability. However some projects may require additional coats depending on the surface or color change. 

  • What steps do you take to prepare surface before painting?

    We clean the surfaces, repair any damages, and sand to ensure a smooth, losng-lasting finish.

  • Do I need to prepare my space before you arrive?

    We ask clients to remove personal belongings, fragile items, and wall hangings if possible. Our team will handle covering furniture, floors, and other areas to protect your space.

  • Can you paint over wallpaper?

    We recommend removing wallpaper for a proper finish. 

  • How do you handle ceilings or high walls?

    Our team is equipped with professional tools and equipments to get the job done safely. 

  • What types of paint finishes do you recommend?

    The choice depends on the space. These days paints are becoming closely durable across various sheens and finishes. However, we still recommend finishes such as eggshell or matte for living areas while higher sheen paints like semigloss for bathrooms and kitchens due to its ease of cleaning.
